I’ve found my purpose. I live life on my own terms. I do nothing to please anyone. When my heart isn’t in it, you will know. When my heart is in it, you will feel it. Word will get out. Below is a famous quote I live by.
“Well-behaved women seldom make history.”
Laurel Thatcher Ulrich.
Year 2 of doing this. We also like to see our visions on sight. Myself and a few friends and teens got together to make our goals a reality. We cheated on our diets, drank a little sangria and laughed all night, well into the next morning. The ladies had a really good time. Our winner for the worst vision board of the night was not featured. It was that bad. Ha! Others, took theirs home to finish up. I’m so glad to have been accompanied by all of them. Squad goals. Thank you all for coming out. I love you all.
When you do great things, you want great things to happen to others. You control only what you can. No one can be made to execute their dreams. We are our own hindrance.
I, personally, tend to shy away from those who are stagnant. I never want to be just comfortable. I’ve worked hard all my life to make a living for myself. I’ve always wanted my child (if I ever had any) to have better than I had. Also, for my child to be left with something he can benefit from.
I’ve seen both ends of the spectrum: living check to check and having enough money in savings. I prefer the latter. Without a vision in place, how will I know what I want for myself? You can see my vision board here: Youtube Channel.
“Success means doing the best we can with what we have. Success is the doing, not the getting; in the trying, not the triumph. Success is a personal standard, reaching for the highest that is in us, becoming all that we can be.”
